No, that's a terrible deal. For $129, you can get a whole bass. http://www.rondomusic.com/bassguitars4.html
considering you can get a complete SX bass (with neck) for that much or less....NO! The only thing that seems to have been "upgraded" is a different bridge- and it is a cheap generic bridge, so probably not much of an upgrade if at all. Karl
It's the body of this bass: http://www.rondomusic.com/sjb-75ltd3ts.html Like others have said, for a few extra $$$ you could have the whole enchilada (with a bound 'n blocked maple neck!). Not a good deal, IMO...
http://www.rondomusic.com/sjb-75ltd3ts.html Wait i never knew they changed the bridge. Don't do it, Just buy the one above from rondo.
That is the LTD bridge...upgraded by SX...not the seller...It is the guitar Buskman linked to except the cavity has been shielded...
I am assuming it's the stock bridge and pickups. Nothing in the ad to suggest otherwise. AFAICT, it's stock except for the shielding and neck plate.
No. It's a lousy deal. A new SJB-75 LTD is $180. You'll have to buy a neck for the body, which costs $45-$60 from Rondo, depending on whether you want a 4-string, 5-string, fretless or short-scale. And what's up with the $25 shipping? Rondo charges $15 to ship a whole bass. With shipping the total cost of the eBay body, with buying a separate neck, will cost you about $205. If you like the body, just buy the LTD from Rondo and be done with it. Here's my SJB-75 LTD. Bought used from a fellow bass player, but in mint condition.
