    it's a auction in AUS $$...so I have no idea what the final price will be..and thus have no idea if it's a good deal.

    how does it compare to an epi Tbird?

    OK what would be a reasonable price for it then in whatever $ you like just to give me an idea.

    no more then 500 USD for a MIJ bass..IMO

    the Fender is a completely different beast compared to the TBird.
    try them both if you can.

    Thanks for the input, im probably gonna stick with the tbird as i think it looks awesome and plays nice as well, and the price is very similar.

    I absolutely love my friend's Gibson TBird..that bass can rule the world! :)

    The only issue seems to be neck dive which by all accounts is easy enough to fix
