Just got my hands on a Peavey Grind bass, 4 string. The G string tuner is where the trouble starts. There is a small crack in the headstock that starts at the bottom of the hole for the tuning machine and goes toward the bottom of the bass. It doesnt go all the way through. Can i glue and clamp it or am I boned?

You should post a picture that shows the crack. You really only have one chance to repair a cracked headstock. You may to want to take it to the best luthier in your area and have it fixed properly.
