is this going to be safe?

    i was wondering if you could take a smaller practice amp and put an output into a power amp and then out from the power amp to cabinets?
    or just straight from the power amp (by power amp i mean like a crown or mackie PA like power amp i guess)?

    only if you use your practice amp's line out or preamp out. don't use a speaker out - that would fry your power amp.

    You can't use the output to the cabs , but if you have a preamp out you can take this signal to your power amp . I don't know if this signal will be to much so you might get distorsion.
