Why not take it a bit further and specify an element?

I just checked the band register, and it wasn't taken there. Register it (for free) if you like.

How about cadmium? I like cadmium. When I was in high school Chemistry I wrote a song called "The Cadmium Blues."

When I was in high school chemistry I wrote a Chemistry rap, including many elements as well as the law of definite proportion and a couple of other random factoids. I got +75 extra credit points for writing it and another +25 for performing it.

I think the element of surprise is the best element.

I'm a second semester premed biochem major, so I'll be taking chemistry out the wazoo, and my favorite element is Francium. Imagine throwing that in a big ol' lake... HUGE EXPLOSION! hooray for group one elements+water...

Well, I would expound on the virtues of the element of mystery, but that would sorta defeat the purpose, wouldn't it?

    ;) :D

Isn't that a compound? As is the air of mystery? :D

Ah, it's both! Just like oxygen, which is an element (O) that is most commonly found as a compound (O2). Similarly, the element of mystery (M) should not be confused with the air of mystery (M2)These things sure can get complicated, can't they?

    :D :D
