is this something to be concerned ???

    8DD949B9-2F7B-43C9-9E31-53B2E5FA61B2.jpeg i ordered pickups and got the seymour duncan quarter pounder for my squier jazz bass vintage modified 5 strings ...
    i wanted to upgrade the electronics after almost 2 years playing it and decided to get those plus the audere pre amp ... i got them brand new but they look like this

    if this something to be worry about ??? i did got them brand new and when the package arrived the outside box was completely fine , the inside was not , original packing was like open and pickups were out of place, i installed them and everything sounds normal no issues so far , i have recorded a couple of tracks and played live
    any input is appreciated thanks!!!!

    Those little imperfections on the pole pieces won’t affect the performance of the pickups at all.

    Yeah, nuthin to worry about. I like your choice of PUs and pre. Sound clips once it's installed? :thumbsup:

    If the look is really an issue to you (and it is only a cosmetic thing), and you bought them at a genuine SD dealer, you can exchange them either at the dealer or through our 21 Day Exchange program.

    sound wise is not an issue at all ...
    is my first time swapping both pickups and using seymour duncan so i was just wondering if it is a normal thing to get stuff like that so ... i dont have any sound clips available yet but i can tell u that there’s a difference in the sound for sure .
    i recommend audere so far so good !!!
    & im loving the quarter pound pickups so far !!!
