Is this SX as good as Fender's MIM 60's Jazz?

    It sure looks as nice, and as good as my other two SX basses are I bet it plays and sounds pretty good too. Anyone have this model? Like/dislike it?

    In general, no, but it depends on what matters to you. The MIM 60's Jazz nails the feel, vibe and tone of the '69 Jazz I once owned. The SX will save you some money if you are comparing new prices.

    IMHO, the best bet is to get a used Fender.

    I'm just wondering if it's a really cheap ($140) cure for my 60's Jazz GAS ... :bassist::D

    Maybe that new 60's vibe Squier is better.

    Or maybe I just need to save some more for the real deal. :D
