Is this two tracks or an octave pedal?

I don't wait 30 minutes after eating, to go swimming.
My band is doing this song (Miss Nothing - The Pretty Reckless) and I'm wondering how to duplicate the effect at the beginning.

    Ideas?

Sounds like an 8 string with some overdrive.

    Sounds more like a 8 string/octave strings.

Yeah, I was thinking 8 string, but live he's definitely playing a 4.

  5. Probably a top end eq'd chorus live. Listen to john entwistle on later stuff (80's +) he has biamped but the top end has a chorus to ring and thicken up the space of the 3 piece setting..... Obviously he used an 8 too but the candid stuff off an ox tale you really hear the tone :)
