Is this worth buying?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Stanley Design, Aug 28, 2004.

  1. I think that if you don't personally "know" and trust a repairman then you could be taking a chance on being overcharged. I wouldn't want to take that chance.

I am also concerned that the amp in question does not power up at all. I am not an expert on repair but the first thought I had was bad transformer and/or burned out circuit board. If that is the case the amp is completely useless. I would be more interested in fixing an amp that powered up but had no output.

After reading the feedback I would not buy anything from him.

Worth buying.....if you need an anchor for your boat!

Seriously, my band used a CS800 for years. We thought it sounded good.

Then we picked up a QSC PLX 1202 from MF when they had a blowout on refurbs for $399.

The QSC is lighter, punchier, cleaner, and just blows the CS 800 away.
