I play a Fender FSR through an Ampeg SVT 450H. I was looking at getting the Behringer V-Amp Pro Preamp; love the idea of all the different settings and effects. Would adding one of these to my rig be a good investment or not?
Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Seriously. I would recommend trying one out by buying it from someplace that has a good return policy; that way you can hear it with your own rig. Also, try searching here, as there are many posts about it already. Good luck!
I like to lug my rig into my local shop, setting it up, and then switching different pedals in and out. You can't get a better test drive than that
