    hey, how many 9-stringers can you guys name? aside from Bill Dickens and Gregory Bruce Campbell, the only cat I can think of is the player in Nuclear Rabbit, but I've never heard him. who else out there is slingin' this heavy a cannon and is their music available to the buying public?

    hey, no problem. also, melvin davis only plays a 7,iirc.

    Is that a capo on that bass?

    JT, do you know is that tuned F#-B-E-A-D-G-C-F-A#, or something crazy like that?

    yes, that's the tuning. also, that thing at the 3rd fret is a hairband - he uses it to mute strings when he's slapping.

    Doesnt the guy from Alien Ant Farm use a huge bass with an extra few strings?

    Any large hairband should be able to fit over that...I can get any of my medium size hairbands over my 5 string necks really easily.

    Kirby, no, he uses a 6 string.
