Well, I just played bass for the first time in public. At a bar my brother frequents, they have a karaoke night hosted by a singer my brother knows. How it works is, anybody who wants to come and play can come and play. So, I went and I played. Well, my little cheap Peavey jazz bass sounded great! I plugged straight into the board, no amp necessary. But it sounded much better than through my amp.

Oh, yes. I'm no stranger to performing, however. I have played trumpet for 10 years and I am about to graduate from college with a degree in music education. However, this was my first "rock 'n' roll" performance. I love providing the big low notes. It feels good deep down, you know. ;-)On trumpet, I usually had the melody.
