Ooooohh what a pretty blond. The shop owner says it's one of the nicest he's seen come out of the American shop. I love the grain pattern. They picked some outstanding piecies of inlay. The action is unbelievable! My shop owner says he has to adjust almost every single fender he gets in. Not this one, it was perfect right out of the case!

    It plays like a dreeeeaaammm......

Wow, very nice! Not feeling the black PG, though. Are you planning on switching that out?

We'll see. I haven't owned it long enough to know :)

  7. I just picked up the 5 string version. I spent this weekend in the studio with it, playing through a Radial DI and Avalon pre. It sounds AWESOME on "tape.":hyper:

Very nice. It's hard to beat an American Deluxe Jazz in my opinion.

  9. The AD Jazz is among the very best---in playability, looks, and SOUND!!!!

My AD Jazz is probably the nicest bass I've ever had. Even if its not the "nicest", it's still my favorite. An absolute dream bass to gig with. I can't wait to record with it. Its as high-quality an axe as any I've ever had too.

Have fun with it man, that's a "lifetime" bass IMO.

If I had the money, that would be the Fender Id buy. I hate you, in a good way.

  12. Real nice bass. Congrats. BTW, how do you like that amp?

I like it a lot. It puts out plenty of power for the 410GLX it's sitting on top of. Good clean tone. Not too expensive. Just what I was looking for.

The upgrades on the American series are similar to what the Deluxe already have- light weight, similar bridge and low mass tuners.I don't think they have changed so far in 2008.

My 2007 Deluxe 5 string Jazz has one of the nicest tones of all my basses. It is smoothe and rich. I love it! Noshtero, nice bass! I like the looks of it. Enjoy!!!

Congrats- beautiful grain and a real looker. AmDlx Fenders don't get the recognition they deserve, they are terrific basses. :)
