It is an absolutely stunningly beautiful day here in New

After the harsh winter we have had, and a pretty
grey and rainy spring, it is the kind of day
that I would call a 'hookie' day, like how can I get
out of here by 1.30 or so ...

In college, I would have been out on the green,
with my gitter and a book, and a few friends.
My fave vices and a nap with the sun shining on my face.

WR, in NE when we get a day like today, you really
    appreciate life.

I am so happy to be alive today.

It is nice here in Minnesota. Too bad I am packing for a move. It has been a bad, bad, bad week. Wife is losing her job, found out a day after our closing on our first home. Sister left her hubbie last night. Heck even TB has been a little sad with all thats going on.

But when the simple things like sun warming your face, breeze in your hair or your lil' 5 yr old daughter holding your hand as you walk around her new backyard. It reall makes lifes hurdles trivial.

    Smile and enjoy!! :bassist:

I left this morning for work with "BUCKETS" of rain coming down!!!! Flash flood casing rains.... the 20 feet from door to car caused me to be soaked thru to the bone!

45 minutes later I arrived at the office to the sun peaking out and no rain... now it's sunny & in the mid 70's

:smug: yeah it's a beautiful day!

Hey Thor, guess what.... I'm leaving work now :hyper:
    And it's all your fault.
I should go out and get some stuff done but I think I will take a nap on my screen porch. I mean, I do have a gig tonight so I need my beauty sleep.

    F work, I'm outta here!!
    Have a nice day :)

    Speaking of lunch ...

We sent down to sams club and got a box of burgers and dogs and fired up the grill in the parking lot. I just had the 2 best dogs and best charbroiled burger of my life, life is schweet!

Based on your avatar, a nap is not gonna quite do it! hehe
    I suggest a full frontal lobotomy ...

    Sounds like a plan.
  16. I thought you meant the Violin band fronted by David LaFlamme "It's A Beautiful Day" with their world famous hit "White Bird."

But it is a lovely day, and I'm stuck at work. Could have left early yesterday, not today.

Man, you said it! I just woke up (10 AM PST), and the sun is shining, no clouds, and no ill effects from the drinking last night! I believe I also just made my first set of friends last night after living in SF for six months. Hooray!

I think I'm going to take a book down to the beach today and do some reading.
  20. i hate being stuck in the office.
