It's bassist like you that give bassists a bad name

C'mon, admit it, all bassist are guilty until proven innocent. But why? Well, there are certain bassists out there mucking it up for all of us.

Ex. I was reading a brilliant article by some young bassist somewhere that was discussing that if you were jamming with a guitarist/drummer and you didn't know what key the guitarist was in, no matter what you could just match the drummers kick drum with an open E. So lets say a guitarist is in F... you could play an E and it wouldn't sound bad at all.



What's your example of bass dumbassiry that has condemed us all into agony.
