Every year, I keep my eye out for people who put out their Christmas stuff way too early (not counting people that leave their lights on all year long/stores, etc.) The earliest I have seen around here is November 11th (decorations in the yard.)
Last night, on my way home I saw a house with a full on Christmas tree in the front window (Oct. 23.) New record I guess.

I LOVE it! I love the whole Christmas extravaganza. It's probably because I'm still like a six year-old when it comes to Christmas. My rule is as soon as Halloween is over, in go the Johnny Mathis cds.

Some stores around here had Chrismas crap out in late September.

I dislike the holiday season, imo nothing more than greedy retailers looking to make a quick buck with sale after sale after sale. "Buy now!" "Put it on layaway!" "Quantities are limited!" "Hurry in, with prices this low........"

Bah humbug. Im sure this isnt what the three wisemen had in mind when they came bearing gifts.

Word on the street is that "Polar Express" is being released Nov. 10. NOV 10th??!?!!

One of the greatest christmas stories ever written, will be released before we all have a chance to put our turkeys in the oven. How can you appreciate such a (hopefully) magnificent tale while there are still leaves in the trees?!?!

    GAH!!!

I love Christmas time. It doesn't matter to me when it starts.

  20. I hate christmas music.

Well, any "time specific" music I hate.
