I like homemade icecream the best. The quality and possibilities are endless.

Local places and ice cream parlors are great as well.

    For store bought-

"Super premium" - Haagen-Dazs is way better than Ben and Jerry's. B&J isn't bad (there is no such thing as bad ice cream), but I think B&J's is all marketing and mainly a novelty. I love Haagen-Dazs's creme brulee and german chocolate cake flavors.

"Budget Ice Cream" - Tillamook's Udderly Chocolate (formerly Brown Cow).

Mochi Ice Cream tastes amazing as well.

Ice cream. Lots of it. No need to be more specific than that.

And then plenty of hot, black coffe as a chaser.

I'm an ice cream fanatic, it's always been my food downfall...the local ice cream shop down the road has Perry's hard ice cream, and an assortment of soft serves that change daily. My wife just had Perry's "White Lightning" the other night, holy cow!! Dark, dark chocalate with streaks of white mint through it!
I also think Ben & Jerry's is highly overrated...after trying every flavor they have, I actually think Edy's blows them away, for less than half the price. But home made is the best, I've been cranking my own for about 25 years, one of my favorites to make is plain old cinammon ice cream, just awesome!
