    My EMG J5 set arrived yesterday so I spent the morning gutting my Lakland Skyline 55-60 and installing the EMGs. For anyone else out there that may be contemplating replacing their stock 55-60 pups, the EMGs are a drop-in replacement.

    I have always thought the Lakland bridge is an enlightened design to offset the string-through-body holes in the bridge to account for the compensation. This keeps the G string from twanging and the B string from binding and possibly breaking.
