    What the?!!!!!

iTunes takes 4-6 weeks to put up your music?!

Has anyone had it put onto iTunes faster? If so, how?

Sounds about right. They also pay slowly.
  3. Just use Bandcamp. Why waste your time and earnings on that krÆp, i don't know.

IIRC, iTunes also masters (or autolevels) everything submitted to them. They are most likely screening content and mastering so it takes time.

I presume you'd like to sell your songs for a long, long time.

If so, then what's the hurry?

Using CD Baby, it took three days from uploading the files to having them appear on iTunes.

No hurry per se, just that I was hoping to get them on for Christmas.

And Apple is all computerized, correct? :smug: What takes so long?!:eyebrow:

Yeah... I figured that'd be the norm... but maybe not. I want to hype the release, so I didn't want to have them appear without a degree of planning/certainty...

I may be bummed because ReverbNation button I clicked on stated: "Get your music on iTunes today". not quite.
  8. most of the online places take that kind of time. and you may want to read cd baby's fine print.. some shady stuff in there.
