Probably playing all them extra strings. I only have 5 strings, so I never get crabby.

  3. is a triple-neck out of the question? it can be done...:D

oh, dude, i'm getting old. 2 necks is it for me. call me old fashioned

  5. I haven't seen a change.

There is no cure, no pill, no easy way out.
But one day the sun will shine, or you may just bang your head. Then you will awake from the holiday funk. It happens to a lot of us, it may be a great song on the radio, may be something a friend, spouse or stranger says to you. You will smile. You will not notice, you will not even remember that you were in a funk. But deep down inside you will be back to normal, or as close as you can get.

Disclaimer: The sun may not shine, you may get hit by a car or bus, either way you will have changed.

It could be too many basses taking up too much room in your house and not giving you your much needed space.

You will send me one or two of them immediately, and you will start to feel better. Of course, I will too. :D

Seriously, though, I get the same way over the holidays. It goes away, usually a few days after the New Year for me, anyway. No known cures.

Sounds a bit generic, but the first step to overcoming a problem is admitting you have one. Just find some JT time. Chill, get away. Not nessicarially a vacation, though that would be nice. Find some time where you can do... nothing. Sit in a chair, listen to some jazz or classical or something nice in general and say, "Scuse me while I kiss the sky." or "Scuse me while I kiss this guy" depending on your interpretation of Jimi Hendrix lyrics.
