I tried my amp the other day, and it wouldn't work. I took it apart, and I had blown a fuse. So I bought the right kind of fuses (I'm sure of that) and twice, when I put in a new one, plug in my amp, and turn it on, the fuse starts to glow and blows out within three seconds. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The amp is a Carvin PB100, and it uses 250v 5amp fuses.

Sounds like what happened to my crate! Some resistors got blown, so parts were getting a lot more power than they should have (hence the blown fuse). Take it to an electronics guy, and it should be about a 1$00-150 fix, depending on the guy, the amp, and the extent of the problem

    Call Carvin 1-800-854-2235;)
  4. It looks like your amp is going to get a vacation in sunny California. I think you're going to have to sent it to Carvin for repair.

Fuses blow cos something elsewhere is wrong. 'Return to sender' is your song of the day.
