And I wanted to visit the U.S. east coast, I think I'll stay home and lock the doors instead.
"...but DADDY, I wanted the PINK pony!!!"
I have a friend in N Carolina
Glad I was watching Johnny Quest.
Ah, man-up and come on down...half the province is here for the summer anyway.
I'm playing a comic con in a few weeks, always attracts a bunch of eccentric folks. To each his own, if you ask me. Nobody blinks twice at an accountant blowing off some stream dressed as a cowboy. It's a fine line, just saying.
Just say neigh...
Interesting. My girls are 6 and 9. They went through a couple years of a strong My Little Pony phase. They didn't own many of the toys. But they loved the show.
I couldn't wait until that phase was over. Those little high-pitch squeaky voices were like fingernails on a chalkboard.
And the plot of every single show was...
1) We're all best friends.
2) One friend temporarily forgets what it means to be a friend and somehow screws the rest of the herd.
3) That friend is reminded what it means to be a friend and becomes a friend again.
4) Some annoying little dragon accidentally burnt something.
Like I said, I'm glad it's over.
That being said, if it brings you enough joy to form an adult lifestyle around it, have fun.
I'm sure they aren't hurting anyone.
I have three kids. I end up watching a ton of cartoons, and I actually like some of them. Especially those that sneak in fun 80's adult references (if you haven't watched We Bare Bears, you wouldn't understand). I've even been forced to watch My Little Ponies, but not too much.
Let me say, for the record, that I believe people should be free to be whatever they want to be (unless they want to be a serial killer). That said, guy in the rainbow wig.........inside, I'm judging you......
People dressing up in colorful clothes and having fun. Seems pretty harmless.
There is a Brony Bassists Club thread on TB. I don't think it's been posted on for a while, though.
Now imagine grown man doing this, scary isn't it?
Yeah but how many will come back like they were before?
At first glance, I thought it might be a contagious lung disease...
... just to be safe, you guys didn't pair up for balloon blowing duty, did you?
there's a documentary about bronies that my husband and i watched on netflix called "Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony". some of it was fun, a little of it was sad, and it was pretty interesting. they're male fans of "my little pony - friendship is magic", and it took part around a number of guys getting to a brony convention and a little about their bronyism. not on netflix any longer.
It can't be any worse than that little Charlie Brown wannabe, 'Calliou'... 2 episodes in, and our kids are now complaining, on a daily basis, the sky is blue, and they'd like us to do something about it... you know, to make their day better...
I'll take Bugs, any... day... of... the... week.
My Little Pony gets exponentially better when you add some Wu-Tang.
If this is still on Netflix I'll check it out
