J.B player 4-string acoustic bass...any thoughts?

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me a bit about these. I can get one from a local store here, but its kind of a blind buy, no place around here has one for me to sit down with and play it, but the store is willing to work out a good arrangement with me for it. (If I put money down, they order it)

I played an acoustic bass today and liked it a lot. (a Michael Kelly firefly) Something about the acoustic bass sound just connected with me and I couldn't put the damn thing down....heh

Is it a good buy? Hardware? Tone and sound? How are the electronics?

Anyone?
