J-Retro Deluxe

    how well does this keep the original passive tone (After toying around with the Jaco I'm in love with its original tone.. but would like an active setting only because it would work crappy on my P-Bass and would like the option of going active)? Only reason why I'm rethinking getting it... also because its the price of a Playstation :p and I just blew like 1500$ on a bass :bassist:

    umm...better chance for responses in Pickups? :)
  3. if you get the deluxe, you'll have to make a hole for the input jack in the side of the bass.

    yah I realized this.. after seeing my local dealer.. I got a regular J-Retro.. going to solder it in tomorrow see how it works :)
