J-Retro in a Thumb?

    just wondering...would there be any way to get the J retro preamp to fit in my thumb bass. i love the idea of having only 3 knobs to do all that stuff, but the thumb's knobs are offset and the jretros are in line.


    do they make one that you can move around where the knobs are?

    i think so. i believe its called a u-retro? try to find the website. sorry im not much help.

    yup right after i posted i found the actual website. it is called the u-retro.


    hmm....now what would be the best pickups to pair with that in a thumb?

    My advice is to try the original pickups. The J-Retro makes so much of an improvement, you might just find that the originals are great. I did with my Jazz. It's the nicest sounding bass around, with the stock Fender pups.
