Looks like No.1 is taken Presently strung with TI Flats. The little dial you see in the F-Hole is for a Bill Lawrence Q-Filter. The outer bezel is sanded lightly to create contrast, a designy thing. (I never really cared for the plastic pickup and bezel. I tried to cover the bezel with chrome shrink-wrap, but it didn't work.) I also mounted the strap pin to the upper horn.
Pretty! I dub thee #2! I see that you have similar tastes in bass guitars! I should get my Hipshot bridge for the JCB any day now, and hopefully my strap will come in next week (same strap as the jetglo Ric...hand-crafted by Rupert Breeden of Bear Straps in the UK...the guy who makes straps for Noel Gallagher and others)
The only changes I've made are a set of LaBella DTB Flats, bone nut and Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners. Perfectly balanced now.
That red is really stunning! I was torn between white and red, but since I found an alpine white one for $550 used (w/ case), I couldn't pass it up. TI jazz flats and Hipshot bridge for me! Gee Man #5
Here’s mine... currently having a Hipshot bridge installed. Oh, also had the neck strap button professionally moved to the upper horn. Otherwise, completely stock.
Sweet Alpine White! I'm thinking about removing the "50-250-500" black ring on my alpine white... dannylectro #6
So...is your JCB your #1? I'm currently a Rickenbacker 4003s (jetglo) driver for gigs (rock and roll band)...
