Just Picked up a Jack Cassidy Bass I have some Questions about if it is normal that the output is much lower then my Fender Jazz Or Reverend

    Thanks

My Reverend Rumblefish PJ has the hottest pickups of any passive bass I've ever owned. The output of the Epiphone Jack Casady depends on the varitone setting. 50 is quite low but very woody and acoustic sounding whereas the 500 is very p-bass like and significantly louder.

If you want more output, throw on a set of GHS Pressurewounds.
