    Hey guys,

I've just got home with my shiny new 'Lava Cables' Ultramafic 12ft Cable - straight/right angle configuration switchcraft gold plated jacks. Lovely lead, high hopes..

PLugged into my Celinder J Update (Switchcraft Jack Socket), and..... NOTHING! Checked, old lead plugged in, bass fine. Then I plugged the Lava lead into my old Jazz bass, sounded fine.. Actually, sounded frikin' amazing! Tone of the bass coming through beautifully..

Back to the Celinder.. Dead! I'm assuming there is some problem with the size of the jack? Am I missing something, or is it simply 'one of those things'? I've heard similar with Monster cables, but surely all my switch craft stuff should get along fine?

Please help, I'd love to keep this cable as I have high hopes from what little I've heard so far. Reluctant to send it back..

If I have to exchange the local shop do Evidence audio - Any Good?
