Anyone know for sure if the Jackson Anti Gravity has been discontinued? I was looking to get the quilted four string but was told from a music store that they only had one black five string left and they were discontinued. I really like that bass.

  2. Yep, it's gone from the production lineup. Still available through the CS, if you're willing to pay for it. ;^)

I've always wanted to play one.

Harry Fleishman design + US Jackson build quality + reasonable pricing = what could be one of THE great sleeper basses of all time.

No Jackson players would touch it, though, because it was weird and "boutique" looking, and almost no boutiquers would touch because it said "Jackson" on the headstock. :^(

Would you mind pm'ing me the info of the store with the 5-string? :^D

I think they dropped production during the Fender buyout.

Hmm, those were weird looking basses, sadly I never got to try one!

I tried a fiver at The Bass Place. It played fantastic. I would have splurged for it if it weren't so fugly. It was very light and well balanced and the compound radius board was comfortable. Too bad the shape was "weird".
