Jaco in concert on DVD!!!

Thanks. I was under the impression this was already out. I was kind of bummed I hadn't been able to find it yet.

 

Is this gonna be available in the UK anytime soon?

 

I think the instructional DVD you refer to is "Modern Electric Bass". It's (obviously) old although I think they've added some stuff to it. I have the VHS of it and it is not Jaco at his best, but still worth having.

 

It's finally being released in the US on DVD... it's been available as an import DVD for quite a while now. I bought it from Audiophile Imports about a year or two ago. Of course, I had to pay $50 for it...

The quality of the footage, both audio and video is outstanding. You'll need to remember that it's a Joni Mitchell DVD if and when you buy it. They focus on Joni a lot during the DVD... and then there is all that odd old movie footage that mixed in at times.

 

It comes out tomorrow the in the U.S.....should cost under twenty bucks
