    I got a question for you guys...can enyone tell me what kind of effect Jaco uses playing "Slang"....you know that repeating thingy....is it called ping-pong effect or something?
    Yeah...um...I would also like to know what do you thing about that song.

    He used a function on an old recording machine, to record that phrase and loop it back.

    modern day "phrase samplers" do this.
