Just wanted to recommend "Who Loves You" (Concord Jazz) to the persons on this board. It's a Jaco tribute featuring, amongst others, John Patitucci, Will Lee, Victor Bailey, Mark Egan, Marcus Miller, Steve Gadd, Mike Stern and Hiram Bullock. I had a chance to listen to it over the weekend; the playing, particularly Miller's slow jam version of "Portrait of Tracy," is stunning.

I like Mark Egan & cohorts doin' "Dania".
Also, the ACOUSTIC reading of Hendrix' "Third Stone From The Sun"(Patitucci on bass)is, in my book, cool.

I was so happy they didn't make it a happy-jazz album, like
the did on Weather Report's tribute album.
