What are you bored? Do you have nothing better to do? I don't think I've ever seen such a desperate attempt at fishing for an argument.
Who cares what I call the man for his actions?
Why does it bother you so much?
GET OVER IT.

man, none is saying a bad word about Robert: you say "selfish" etc. He sure did something good giving the family at least the opportunity to know where the bass is and he gives them some sort of priority whenever they have the money, ok?
Lol, he didn't tell them where the bass was, THEY (The Pastorious Family) well technically Bob Bobbing then the Family, told him, after telling him they'd been in a legal battle to get it back they were either not able or willing to continue obviously due to financial issues.
He then funded the expenses and obviously made it to where the case was won.
He couldn't have just randomly waltzed into the court flashing his wealth, they would have still themselves, continued the case (using) his money.
Therefor the bass would have been awarded to the Pastorious family NOT Trujillo through the court.
It appears that they must have felt humbled by his incredibly selfless act of kindness and relinquished ownership until they could get to a point that they could repay him. (Just assumption, but certainly not a stretch)

But he is not any saint. He surely did something good. Can you be ok with this or you want to name him the holy man of the year or something?
It's official Robert Trujillo is "The Holy Man of the year"

Listen sugar britches, I'll name him whatever I'd like, if i want to refer to him as a saint for what he did, what business is it of yours?
The comment was a typed out expression of MY opinion NOT YOURS, what makes you think you get to dictate the label I decide to attach to him?
If I want to call him the pope, the virgin mother Mary, or freaking God in the flesh, it's my decision. If I want to say he's the peanut butter & jelly sandwich for what he did, I will.
I'll word my opinions how I see fit, you worry about your own.

once again: there is a written agreement about the priority in case they have the money. That is different from saying "it's yours whenever you want to take it home". Money is money.
Why do you think Trujillo is under some obligation to live up to your ideals of what's morally right or wrong?
He also could have just stayed out of it and sat back while they lost the legal battle to Brewster and the bass all together.
Brewster technically had a real good shot at keeping ownership from my understanding.
And that also may very well have been JPI's (Jaco Pastorious Inc.'s) decision to incorporate into the terms.
This isn't la la land bud, it's the real world, people make things legal especially here where lawyers were involved from the start from both JPI and Trujillo.

But you are right: neither I nor you know anything but what is written around. And most part surely is distorted: interpersonal relationships are often unspoken, unwritten, emotional etc.
No there's nothing surely distorted about it. For all you know it's verbatim fact for fact correct.
Stop just making things up to make yourself feel like you've won something.

I DIDN'T, And after discussing this with you, I WOULDN'T.

what would I have done I'll tell you: knowing the mobile numbers of these people,
Now you know the mobile # to these people?
Or are you simply claiming to know who's phone # Trujillo keeps in his Contacts???

You're a trip man.

I would have called Stanley Clarke, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter and at least other 100 people that would have easily gave a few hundred dollars to make the whole sum to have this bass go to the family.
I bet YOU would never have made it past the voicemail, only to be quickly deleted and blocked.
Lol, why would Trujillo call hundreds of people when he, by himself has the means to do it?

This is something none did.
why do you keep saying none, in place of NO ONE?
It reads strange.
