me and my mates are trying to get a band off the ground but we don't have much time for our jams allthough we practice about twice a week..........we just would like to know any tips on getting the best out of our jams?

and i know rule number 1; don't let the guitarist hog the limelight

Getting the best out of jams? Record them and listen to pick out good stuff you can work into songs.

i agree. we stick a mike in the room, turn on cubase and have a blast :bassist: . its crude, but effective. allows you to pick out parts of jam you dont even remember doing!

we usually burn a few cds of the jams for each member to listen back to at their lesuire.

try it, you wont regret it!
