  1. Can anyone tell me what effects i could use on my Digitech BP200 that could very closely emulate the crazy delay part??? or even the distortion in most the other parts? im just curious cuz i can't figure it out for the life of me... thx

  2. err, um, does it have a delay? That would be best for emulating the crazy delay part...

Delay and Flange for that part. put your flange with the rate about 40% and depth about 50%. I dont have my pedal board here so your own your own for the settings, I think they might be in Brads Tab though If I remeber correctly. Lemme check.....
    yup there in there

  4. it's a multi-effect pedal...so of course it has delay,
but you can mess with how long the delay is and
how many delays there are and stuff like that...
    it's not just a pre-set delay, it's customizable

  5. just mess with it and hear what works. You know the effects, surely you can do a little bit of messing around yourself as to settings...

  6. tooltabs.net is a good site...but it didn't help me with that song, he's says good luck if you don't have his set-up, but i'm just trying to get as close to it as i can with my BP200

He says that cause he's a perfectionist. you'll be able to get everything you need for that song out of that pedal.

  8. i suppose i could do it myself...ha...but........i'm at work and i'm bored, so i was curious what other people used to improvise for it...i'm sure i could figure out the delay, but that distortion is one of a kind, the first time i heard it, i got goosebumps cuz it's pretty kickass...

Ya thats the Colorsound Tonebender about half of Talkbass swear by that pedal(the other half swearing by the Big MUff Pi) I'm sure if you get the right setting with a little bit of High end and low mid boost you should be able to come up with something pretty close, I know I do with my Boss GT-6B, which is a similar pedal.

  10. dam right he's a perfectionist lol his tabs are great...but.... when you say i can get everything i need, you mean out of my pedal right???

    Yes.

  12. alright thanks guys you helped out a lot... and broadbent, you said you have a
Boss GT-6B, what are them mostly used for, and how much does one of them run?
sorry if you're finding my questions stupid but i've been playing for 8 years now and i don't know jack about effects lol which justin chancellor has influenced me to try to use them more...

  13. Justin keeps his delay set at about 300 ms for pretty much every song that uses it on. Flange is as stated above, don't use a very deep setting. During the intro and under the solo, he uses a colorsound tone bender, which is a very bass-heavy fuzz. Try to use some sort of fuzz patch, and boost the hell out of the bass for that patch. There is also an envelope filter he switches on for a note here and there during the solo. For that, I've always just used a wah pedal (which has an auto-on like the 105q). Not sure if you're gonna be able to do that with the bp200.
