Jamiroquai accurate transcriptions ?

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by knight of ni, Apr 15, 2020.

  1. Hi fellow TBers,

I've been working on "Time won't wait', looking for many tabs and score freely available, as well as covers. When it comes to the 'verse' section, no one gets it right IMO. This is about details, of course, but it bothers me as I'd like to study the fills, transitions, etc and not just the main line.
There are two commercial sources for Jamiroquai transcriptions :
The Bassment | Free Bass Guitar Transcriptions in Standard Notation & TAB (digital content, previously edited as physical books)
The Jamiroquai Bass Book - Volume 3 - Bassline Publishing (physical books)

The other option is transcribing myself which is certainly a very good exercise. I may eventually go that way. But if anyone has an opinions on these sources, I'm looking for information !

The stuff from Stuart Clayton at bassline publishing is usually top notch. I would absolutely trust them to be spot on as these were transcribed by Stuart Clayton himself. My girlfriend has bought me a few things from them and they have always been very accurate.
