Too bad you can't hear him on ". . . And Justice for All," because he does some good playing.
you can hear him just fine on the mix i did with those isolated tracks from the game. although there is more grind on my mix since i ran it through a tamplate i had set up for my bands demos at the time.
and a couple others i did.
Felt a little like I was listening to an early Disturbed album. It's a shame this album was mixed with next to no bass because Lars, James, and Kirk are pretty boring on their own
it wasnt next to no bass, it WAS no bass! the guitar hero (or whatever game it was) tracks are at the level of the proper mix, so if you set all the faders at 0 its mixed. you can mute the bass and hear absolutely no difference whatsoever!
Good job on that stuff. If you do the rest id like to hear it
It's mostly just Ulrich and Hetfield because Hammett was only allowed to record the guitar leads back then.
I read an interview with him were he said he recorded AJFA w/a Steinberger bass and a GK amp & to quote him "it just wasn't happening". Sounds pretty cool here to me though.
Wow Savage those tracks sound great! It's like discovering AJFA all over again, but better.
