Jason Newsted Sadowsky

    Its just the way the pic was taken. Its a 24 fret 5 string Sadowsky. They are about $3500 new. The one in the pic is black. Not a carved top, just like a regular Fender jazz bass. Go to www.sadowsky.com. You'll find them there. Newstead owns approx. 18 Sadowsky's, BTW

    That is just a black bass with plenty of sweet. It is certainly not a carved top and not green; if it looks green is because light reflections. Jason stated at a BP interview that he sweats a lot and was looking for a bass that could withstand abuse, and he ended up choosing Sads.
  4. Yea i know its not carved top, but it sure does look like it from this viewing angle. And after getting my response from Sadowsky i now know it isnt green. I would like to get that kind of greenish marble color in a Sadowsky 24/5 though, that would be AWESOME!
