I have a Jay TUrser bass and i was wondering if they were good?
Couple notches above Ibanez, for what it's worth.
Since you have one...maybe YOU should tell US....
A Jay Turser player! Didn't Paul tell you that we don't allow Jay Turser players on the board?!?
Just kidding, CBM.
Seriously, I have never played one, but from what I have heard they are good basses for the price.
I also saw in another thread that Jay Turser is the person who designed the Music Man Stingray for Leo Fender, and that there was a 20 year no compete clause that kept him from marketing the bass until a couple of years ago.
Tell us about your Jay Turser.
Is it Stingray style?
4 or 5 strings?
How does it sound to you?
CBM: You know how good they are, You know what we think about them. You posted threads about this before Paul sent you on "sabbatical". Are you going to rehash all the posts that got you kicked out in the first place?
Sorry if it seems harsh. I just wish I didn't keep having this feeling of deja vu...
no it don'snt seem harsh to me at all but as for embellisher
it has very comfortable neck its p-bass copy i think?
*sigh* welcome back CBM
I can only echo the feelings of Deja Vu - double DV?
Now if anybody says anything good about a Jay Turser we know they are an alias right!?
Apart from Munji - who we know never to believe and enjoys winding people up! Did you forget to tell him that it's only alright if you're using 300 watts or more?
Now Bruce, I can't deny that I like to wind people up and that 300 watts is the minimum useful power, but every once in a while, I do try to help. Cut me just one ounce of slack here. Also, whatever I do is specifically for the entertainment of anyone who gets it.
I know, I know - I just thought it was funny that you were the only one who was anything like positive among the responses here. But then I suppose it depends on your opinion of Ibanez!
I do appreciate the humour and hope you will carry on and forgive me.
Oops ... I got too serious there for a second. My original comment wasn't serious either. I was a bit surprised not to see the Ibanae coming out of the woodwork with their hay hooks swinging.
*snotty British accent on* So sorry to let you down old boy but we Ibanez owners have risen above that sort of tripe"
*accent off* Munji you are entitled to your opinion, besides most of us are used to it by now. As for my UK brothers of the big strings no offense was intended.
i'm going to find it interesting to say the least if our prodigal son doesn't turn back to his old ways, considering the reception he's getting.
i think it's pretty unnecessary to belabor the point that "he said that already", don't you? there are many participants here now that weren't around 8 months ago.
let's give it a rest, mkay? why don't we wait until something bad actually happens?
Well Mulcahy, you bounder, I'm offended! That sort of jibberish just isn't cricket!
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!
AHHHHHH Yawnsie i love it..say something else!!!!
It's good to see you interjecting with some comon sense.
Remember the days before you were a moderator and you posted some "interesting" messages in the old Lakland Forum to a certain "Special K"?
Turnaround is fair play.
no touche intended, bw, and if it seemed that way, then i apologize.
i wonder what happened to ole special k?
Still looking for bandmates, I guess.
OK, that's enough of this. Closed.
