Jay Turser Warwick Bass Copy.

    Anyone has played/tried the Jay Turser Warwick Bass Copy??
    How does it perform/sound??
    What about Slap tone and Low action??

    Ahhh....Jay Turser...now WHICH person at TalkBass played those, hhhmmm....? :D

    Id stay away from it. As far as the low action, thats adjustable, dude.

    Obviusly, the Action is Adjustable, but there are limits due to poor or great fretwork...
    So.. by asking about LOW Action, I mean if the fretwork is somewhat good to have a REALLY LOW action without fret buzzing.
    Im looking for a Slap percussive Sound like Alexis Sklarevski on his video. To get that kind of percusive using the left hand over the frets.. you need a very consistent bass with low action.

    I have seen the faux J.T. (No, not John Turner) Warwicks at Guitar Center. They go for $649, while the real thing is going for $799. who's buying the Tursers? If there's one on TalkBass, I have a bridge they might be interested in buying...

    Oh, I didn't bother to plug it in, but it felt decent, but not great.

  7. I had a Jay Turser Warwick bass years ago we called the cutting board. Played amazingly actually. Sounded great too.
