I am interested in fitting an ashtray pickup cover to my jazz bass. It doesnt have holes for one and was wondering if I can just screw one on, through some pilot holes?

P.s any pirces I should be looking at in particular? I want an actual fender one.

p.p.s price in £ please!! Bleedin yanks
  2. You can get Fender jazz and Precision ashtrays, both bridge and pick up, at musicians friend. Expect to pay about $25 a set. I don't know if they ship overseas or not. I'm sorry, but I'm a bleedin Yank and don't know how many £ it will cost.

If your bass doesn't have screw holes drilled, you can drill them yourself very easily.
