My buddy who builds himself guitars for fun offered to build me a bass body. I've been jonesin' for a fretless jazz so I'm thinking about having him build a body and just buying a Warmoth neck. Is there anyone online or can anyone help me find somewhere that would have a scale 'blueprint' of a J-Bass body basically so we can just trace it onto the wood for cutting? The most important thing is that we need to get the neck pocket perfect...

    Thanks in advance!

    Bump for the morning crowd.

  3. The most important thing to keep in mind here is that you can never get a perfect neckpocket from a blueprint. You can't shape a neckpocket without a neck, so you have to get the neck first. The neck itself is the blueprint!

    Hope that helps.
Good luck, and have fun buildig your own bass!
