Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

    hi there,
im tryin to build my own bass.

one of the specs i want is to have a fander j- bass body on it, but i dont have the cas to blow just to buy a body.

however, i have no problem buyni a template for the body.....i just cant find any online.

anyone know where i can get one?
if not, does anyone have any advice as to what i should do?

    thanks much,
  2. You should make your own template to make your own body. Templates are easier than bodies.

  4. Wow. When they say "contemporary", they mean Warmoth headstock. ;)

Now that's pretty [sad/gratifying], when people are ripping us off! Though in truth, we've changed the pattern now, so it looks like that "contemporary" is now "retro"! :)
