I'm thinking about building a retro 62 Jazz type project. I want an older style bride, but I want one made out of brass that is heavy duty. Basically, I want a retro look with modern technology. Besides the retro bridge hipshot offers, are there any others I should consider?

I'm looking to not spend over $200.00

And no, I don't want to use a Leo Quan

    Thanks,
    Todd

Try using a KTS titanium bridge. It provides superior sustain and string to body coupling, and it has a somewhat dull finish to it.

I have one on a 1960 stack knob jazz replica built for me, and it looks and performs beyond my highest expectations. I think they run about $120. Just google "KTS titanium."
