    The deluxe wood case. Dropping the budget SKB results in misalignment from bent aluminum trim, cracks in the plastic and lost latches and feet. The wood case will still be solid decades from now.

    +1 Yorkville for sure, IMO. Also when going for wood, avoid the ones where the sidewalls are shaped like the SKB. The sidewalls on the Yorkville are much sturdier and less prone to separating.
