Jazz Bass V Plus 1992?

  1. Does anyone know a great deal about this particular model? I bought it on wednesday, exchanged it for my '75 re-issue japan. It has Fender-Lace pickups, an active pre-amp with four modes: passive, active, active series wired (judging by the sound) and an off facility. Bass and treble stack knobs, master volume and pickup-pan stack knobs. They are all black. It has been suggested that pre-amp is made by Kubicki but that person wasn't sure if this was correct. It has no scratch plate or control panel. The headstock has the 5-in-a-row config of machineheads made by gotoh. Fender is written in the usual modern script however jazz bass is in a 'modern' type. The bridge is cast, much like the badass style. I beleive its a '92 as the serial number begins N2.

    Cheers, Matt
