I want to wire my jazz bass with series/parallel switch, mastervolume and master tone.

I couldnt find how any similar threads with only one volume.

I solderd like this but the tone control shuts off the volume. When i wire basses i don't solder to the back of the pot. I do a sort of starground.

Shouldnt i have soldered the capacitor to the ground?

  7. The back of each pot should already be grounded through the control plate, and thus, there is no need to ground the pots any further than is shown.
OTOH, if you want to ground the capacitor to the third terminal of the volume pot, you can do that too.

If the tone pot is reducing volume too much, try connecting the third terminal of the tone pot to the second terminal of the volume pot instead of the first terminal.
    That might help.
