Now I'm a fine solderer and am damn good at following existing schematics, but I'm downright terrible at designing or modifying existing electronic circuits. I have 2 250k potentiometers, one .047 microfarad capacitor, and one DPDT (ON/ON) mini toggle switch to put between the pickups and the mono output jack.

If anyone who understands this stuff better can draw up a quick and dirty schematic, find an example of one that already exists, or even take a picture of their own control plate, it would be much appreciated.

Maybe I'm just seeing things but it doesn't look to me like the signal is going anywhere after the tone cap? Should there be a lead between the tone cap and somewhere?

  4. It's grounded.
