Jazz combo charts - christmas music?

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by patrickj, Oct 19, 2004.

  1. Not sure if this is the right forum or not, so plz move if necessary!

Anyone know of any (pref. online) charts for christmas music for small combos (either $$$ or free)? Eb, Bb, C books, drums/bass/piano/chord charts/etc. The small combo I play in has been hired as entertainment for a BIG christmas party this year and our charts are getting kind of old.

Does anyone know of any places online that specialize in jazz combo music?
  2. Aebersold volume 78 wouldn't be a bad place to start, it has:
    # We Three Kings
    # Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
    # Let It Snow
    # I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
    # Santa Claus Is Coming
    # Silent Night
    # Sleigh Ride
    # Winter Wonderland
    # I'll Be Home For Christmas
    # Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
    # Auld Lang Syne
in it, with the concert, Bb, Eb and bass instrument sheets. Check out http://www.jazzbooks.com for more info. Of course. the fakebooks are always around in most book stores. Those are all non-free though.

For a free, online reference you can check http://www.lewispickford.com out, but may not find all you are looking for. Google will be your best resource on the net front though.
  3. Thanks!!
