    Hi,

Are there any DB teachers out there who reside in South London?

Looking for a working jazz bassist who teaches. I'm an experienced EB player starting to learn jazz. Need help on DB technique, Jazz harmony etc

    Cheers,

    C

You could talk to Roland Perin who teaches jazz piano at Morley college. He's a proffessional performer who regularly plays with double bassists in London and may know someone in your area.

Steve Watts is a very good Jazz DB player and teacher who is London-based - not sure exactly where in London though?

if you look up the realy good london based bassists by name (names that spring to mind include Chris Laurence, Jeff Clynne, Steve Watts) you'll be able to find out where they live.
